This past Sunday, October 6 2013 I walked in Boston's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer and it was AMAZING. There were about 40,000 people there, from survivors to friends and families, it was inspiring.
Thanks to everyone, I was able to reach my goal of $500 within three short weeks of fundraising thanks to the help of my mom and dad who did a lot of advocating for the cause. Thanks mom and dad!
Though the day was rainy it was still a fun walk. We even got free snacks from some of the flag sponsors just for walking, it was awesome.
If you would still like to donate you can just visit our Berta Bunch Team Page!
Here are some pictures and a short video of our walk, enjoy!
Here we are hanging out at the Hatch Shell, where they had performances throughout the day.
Here we are starting our walk!
Our walk was along the Charles River, it was a super rainy day, but we "make strides, rain or shine!"
